If you have a love for elephants, Tarangire National Park is the place for you. This 4-day safari will take you to Tarangire followed by a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. You will also visit Olduvai Gorge which has been termed “one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world.”
This short adventure will be full of majestic animals, breathtaking views and a look back in time.

DAY 1: Arrival Day
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Tour guide driver will transfer you to your hotel. Here you will receive an orientation regarding your upcoming safari, rest and overnight.
DAY 2 : Arusha - Tarangire National Park
We begin the morning with a drive to Tarangire National Park. This area boasts of it’s high concentration of elephants and baobab trees.
You will be provided an afternoon lunchbox at Matete Picnic Site where you’ill have a lovely view of the Tarangire River. During the dry season months wild animals and bird species can be found near the river as it is the only permanent water supply in the area.
Continue your tour until evening, dinner and overnight at Tarangire.
DAY 3 : Tarangire National Park - Olduvai Gorge via Ngorongoro
Soon after breakfast, we leave Tarangire. During the drive you'll have the opportunity to stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint for a stunning view of the Rift Valley and Lake Manyara.
You will also have a lunchbox and short stop at Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint which showcases the breathtaking caldera. We continue your drive to Olduvai Gorge where some of the earliest human remains were found. We proceed to the museum and Laetoli Footprint area, where the footprints of some of the first humans were discovered.
You will have dinner and overnight at campsite or lodge.
DAY 4 : Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Arusha
Descend into the Crater and spend the entire day exploring this beautiful area. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera that is 20 kilometres in diameter and covers an area of 300 square kilometres. It is filled with history, stunning views and many large wild animals. The Cape buffalo, black rhinoceros and hippopotamus may be spotted here. You may also have the opportunity of seeing lions and elephants. It is a unique environment where the Maasai people live among these majestic creatures.
Afternoon lunchbox will be provided. At evening we make our ascent to Arusha.
